Elementary schools
The elementary school curriculum provides work in the educational basics–reading, writing, mathematics, an introduction to natural and social sciences, health, arts and crafts, physical education, swimming, Thai, Chinese, and Information Technology. An important part of elementary schooling is socialization with peers and the creation of an identification of the child with the community and nation. Students begin to engageincreasingly in both curricular and co-curricular activities. English language acquisition is a major task and students improve greatly to first language skills and native speaker fluency.
